About Us

The Beaufort Hunt Supporters Club Show is entering its 27th year and during this time it has been held in Badminton Park by kind permission of  Their Graces, the Duke & Duchess of Beaufort.
This will be the ninth year that the show has crossed the road to The Slaits. The new ground has been more spectator friendly - this encourages more families to come and cheer on family or friends.

The working hunter classes go from lead-rein ponies to open hunters. The course is large and cleverly put together with trees placed around fences to allow the rider "a feel" of jumping a hunting fence. The course is shortened for ponies not exceeding 13hh.

The Gymkhana classes go from tiny-tots to open, including RDA.The Utility classes include Best Turned Out to Child's First Pony, Prettiest Mare or Handsomest Gelding, to name a few! RDA will be incorporated into each class.

This year, the show will have a slightly different layout, which will can be seen on the site plan.  Again we will set-up 9 rings in a horseshoe shape; allowing you to stand in the middle and spectate every class. The secretaries tent will be fenced off with a village green allowing horses and people to get around the show easily and safely.

The show is designed to cover a large selection of classes from show hunters and ponies, to ridden horses, breeding classes, mountain and moorland, affiliated CHAPS(UK), affiliated side-saddle, affiliated working ex-race horse, affiliated RoR Novice Thoroughbred Ridden Show Horse, affiliated carriage driving, vetrans and cobs.  We have an extensive show jumping ring run under two phase.

There will be nine rings for showing and three rings for dressage. The dressage classes offer a large range enabling all to participate including RDA.

Food and refreshments will be available all day and local stalls are there for any horse or rider needs.

As the show has grown over the years, the committee would like to take this opportunity to thank the helpers, judges and sponsors for their invaluable support in allowing the show to go ahead another year.
